Our Story

We attribute our success to putting people over profit, and by standing out amongst the thousands of other realtors in Central Florida. How do we do that?

With an average of 20 listings at once and just as many buyer clients – it is imperative that someone is here to answer your call, text or email whenever you need a response! We pride ourselves in our customer support, and don’t think of ourselves as “salespeople," but more like “matchmakers!” We do NOT take the responsibility of assisting you with one of the biggest purchases, sales or both lightly.

In terms of listings, we have a proven system that gets you the most for your home, averaging 98% of the asking price on our listings! When you’re buying your home, we have tools and tactics to negotiate your offer so you close with equity!

Meet Our Team
Stephanie Cathey
Stephanie Cathey

Stephanie’s first experience in Real Estate began when she was a teenager, working the phones at the front desk of a local RE/MAX Office on the weekends. Little did she know that while she was setting appointments and putting together listing packets, she would be preparing herself for her future career in the same field!

Her Mother and Stepfather worked together in commercial real estate, and her Uncle (who Stephanie sees more as a father than an Uncle) taught her the ropes of investment residential real estate! Stephanie worked for a top producing team in Orlando as an assistant and learned the back end of the real estate transaction, putting her in a better position to properly negotiate and represent her buyers and sellers when she did finally take the leap to full time real estate agent.

The same year she made that jump, Stephanie married her husband, Mike Cathey, a nationally ranked mortgage loan officer. Shortly after, Stephanie and Mike had two beautiful boys, Lennon, and Jagger, who are the light of their lives.

During this time, she obtained her Broker’s License, and closed over $25,000,000 in real estate volume year after year – quickly qualifying her for the RE/MAX Hall of Fame Award – all in less than 3 years.

Other awards include 2019 Volusia/Flagler Counties Top 40 Under 40, multi-year Platinum Club Award Winner, and 2018 WCR’s Humanitarian of the Year Award for founding and running Lennon’s Lunchbox, a local 501(c)3 aimed at refilling the past due lunch accounts of children – preventing them from the stigma of publicly having their lunch taken from their hands and replaced with an “alternative lunch”, as well as the worry of bullying or not knowing whether or not they will have the money to eat lunch.

During the 2020 pandemic, The Cathey Team has had its biggest year yet, and they know the best is yet to come. Stephanie prides herself on her “People Over Profit” mentality and has built a team who focuses every day on just that, taking care of people!

Leah Hill
Leah Hill

Leah was born and raised in a small town in West Virginia and is a mother of three strong, kind loving children. Her and her family moved to Port Orange in 2001 looking for better opportunities. Shortly after arrival, she found her niche in childcare which gave her the ability to spend every day with her children, as well as care for those with working parents. After more than 12 years in childcare, she was ready to make a change looking to provide a better future for herself and her children. Stephanie Cathey learned that Leah was leaving her position at the childcare facility, and offered her a position on her real estate team - The Cathey Team at RE/MAX Signature as an Administrative Specialist. Leah is currently in school to get her real estate license, and helps with the behind-the-scenes operations and help to make sure our ship is sailing smoothly. Our team knows they can rely on Leah to get things handled as needed, so they can focus on being out on the field.

Meagan Miller
Meagan Miller

Meagan Miller was born and raised in the heart of Ormond Beach, FL.  She is the mother of two small children LB and Brooklynn. Also, wife to Blake Miller, owner of Port Orange’s Miller Screen.  

She decided to branch into Real Estate after 10 years as an MFM Sonographer at Halifax Health.  She has embraced real estate with open arms and is ready to help families with all of their buying and selling needs.
